The hotel has a great location, just a short walk from ferry ports and various restaurants. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, we faced a few hiccups with the initial room assignment. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the dining experience fell short in terms of value and options. Overall, a decent stay but with some areas needing improvement.

Rooms

Our first room had a dirty toilet seat, but after bringing it to the owner's attention, we were relocated to a much better room. The decor was quirky with a leopard print carpet and loud wallpaper, which made it feel a bit dated. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable despite the refurbishment happening in the hotel.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly a nice man who offered us coffee and tea in the mornings. The service made our stay a bit more pleasant, though we did experience some rudeness from others.
Location

This hotel is conveniently located near the ferry ports and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. It's in the center of a charming little town, making it easy to park the car and explore the area.
Dining
5.0
We found the dining options a bit lacking, with breakfast being overpriced at 8 Euros for a small serving of tea/coffee and a couple of pastries. It felt poor value for what we received.
Facilities

The facilities were basic, but the rooms were clean and we appreciated the comfortable beds.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which offers excellent value for money. The rooms were clean, spacious, and more akin to an apartment than a typical hotel room. The friendly staff and great location made my visit enjoyable. However, the dining experience could use some improvement, especially in terms of the breakfast offerings, which felt a bit limited.

Rooms

The rooms were very spacious, clean, and quiet, with a lovely view. It felt more like an apartment rather than just a hotel room.

The service was fantastic; the owner was clearly passionate about his hotel and went out of his way to be helpful. I really appreciated his dedication to making my stay comfortable.
Location

The location is excellent, very convenient to walk to the train station and close to many Calais highlights. It's in a quiet area, which I loved.
Dining

The breakfast was nice but felt a bit standard with only the essential fare like croissants and cheese. I think it could be better if there were more options available.
Facilities

The hotel had good amenities, but there wasn't much information available about additional facilities like Wi-Fi or parking.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the nearby market, shops, and restaurants. I found my room to be spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely views, although I did notice some noise from the landing. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. The breakfast was great and offered a good variety, but the value for money was truly outstanding, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Calais.

Rooms

My room was very spacious, equipped with a huge bath and a comfortable big bed, plus the view was lovely. However, the leopard print carpets weren't that great in terms of sound insulation from the landing.

While I didn't use many facilities beyond my room, the hotel seemed to be gradually updating to apartments, which could be interesting in the future.

The hotel has a great location, close to the ferry port and within walking distance of various restaurants and bars. The rooms are well-decorated with a charming French theme, and having a balcony was definitely a plus. However, the absence of curtains in the rooms was a bit of a letdown, even though it didn't affect my sleep. Additionally, the service was mostly friendly and helpful but not always on site, which could be a drawback for some.
